Will & Amanda's Love Story
It began long, long ago in 2003....

Will and Amanda met and started dating as juniors in high school.  The night of junior prom, April 26,  Lonestar's Amazed was playing slowly when Will asked Amanda if she would be his one and only, she looked deeply into his eyes-she had waited so long to hear him ask her to be only his.
She said yes...

After they graduated high school Will joined the United States Marine Corps, a lifelong dream of his, and Amanda went to college.  During bootcamp 92 handwritten, tear-stained letters were sent to Will from his sweetheart.  The day that Will received his Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, Amanda was in the audience cheering for her Infantry Marine, excited for the wild-ride they were about to go on.

Home on Christmas leave, Will took Amanda to all of their 'firsts.'  First kiss, first 'I love you,' first location where they had talked about being together-forever, and where they first met each other for their first date-this is where Will, on Christmas day 2004, got down on one knee, with his hand shaking he asked Amanda to be his one and only-would she marry him.
She said yes...

On May 17, 2005; Amanda moved from Oklahoma to Washington, D.C. where she joined her fiance, Will, while he served out a contract with the Presidential Support Program.  Two years later, on April 26, 2007; Will and Amanda met in the church, and left as one, finally husband and wife.

About a year and half after the marriage of Will & Amanda....
They were so excited and thankful to the Lord for blessing them with such a wonderful addition to their lives.  Due to a medic condition there was concern that they wouldn't be able to have children-this baby was an extra special miracle.  They couldn't wait to meet their baby girl or baby boy...

...and so they began to slowly meet HIM

Nine months, hundreds of turkey hotdogs, around 20 bags of fritos with bean dip, and thousands of tears of joy later...

The newest member and pride & joy of the Denton family, Marshall

Shortly after Marshall's welcome into the world, Will's Active Service contract with the Marine Corps, was up, and the family said goodbye to the Marine Corps...
......or so they thought.
After much discussion and prayer, Will made the decision to join the active reserve Marines.  About 9 months of serving in the reserves, the Corps made an offer that Will couldn't refuse - a deployment to a combat zone.
Which leaves us where we begin this page, Marshall's story, in April 2011.
